Candice Cooper is a singer, songwriter, and martial artist who is a native of Little Rock, AR. She attended Little Rock Central High School and attended UAPB. She started singing and martial arts at age 4 and writing songs at age 9. While taking martial arts, Candice also started making it a tradition to always do community service at the Watershed around Christmas with the taekwondo center and Power 92 still till this day. She also did community service throughout the year as well. Candice became a black belt at age 6. Not only that, but she became a 3 time world champion (forms, weapons, sparring), and inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame. She did martial arts for 16 years then started pursuing music professionally in 2013. Candice had a musical background growing up. In 2013, Candice was offered a distribution deal for an album. While working on the album, Candice was traveling doing shows. She got a chance to be styled by Nicki Minaj’s style team being the first person to wear an outfit from Nicki’s clothing line before it came out in New York for a performance in front of R&B Grammy Award winning artist Neyo’s A&R. Candice made an appearance on the BET show “The Xperiment” with Grace Gealy from the hit show “EMPIRE” and comedian Brandon Broady.
